Social media were set abuzz when Armaan Malik's second wife Kritika Malik announced her pregnancy.
YouTuber Armaan Malik who is married to Payal as well as Kritika has been embroiled in controversy for the past many months. The latest is Patiala Court summoning Armaan Malik along with his 2 wives over violating Hindu Marriage Act.
Armaan, along with Payal and Kritika shared an announcement in which Kritika was seen holding a pregnancy test stick showing a positive result, while Payal stood beside her.
The caption read, “Ghar mai khushiyaan aane wali hain. [Happiness is about to come home.]” The family has not revealed whether it is Payal or Kritika who is expecting.
For those who are unware, Armaan Malik is already a father of four children. He shares son Chirayu and twins Ayaan and Tuba with his first wife, Payal Malik, and son Zaid with his second wife, Kritika Malik.
Coming back to the legal case, Patiala District Court has issued notices against Armaan Malik in two separate cases, summoning him to appear on September 2. The cases relate to allegations of bigamy and hurting religious sentiments.
The court has also summoned both of his wives, including Payal Malik. One of the cases accuse Armaan Malik of entering into multiple marriages, reportedly up to four, which is a violation of the Hindu Marriage Act. The law permits only one marriage at a time for Hindus.
The second case stems from accusations that Armaan Malik and his wife Payal dressed as Hindu deities, allegedly offended religious sentiments.
Notably, Payal Malik had visited Goddess Kali Temple along with Armaan in Patiala and Mohali. As a religious punishment, Payal cleaned Goddess Kali Temple. Thereafter, as promise, Payal went to Haridwar for a Puja.
