In a big relief for Bangladesh speedster Al-Amin Hossain, a Dhaka Court on Wednesday canceled the arrest warrant issued against him in the domestic violence case. The 32-year-old speedster Al-Amin Hossain has been going through legal trouble ever since a case of domestic violence has filed against him by his wife. Bangladeshi media reports Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Md Rezaul Karim Chowdhury passed the order of reconsideration petition against the arrest warrant. Quashing Al-Amin Hossain arrest warrant, the court also fixed October 16 for the next hearing and asked for both sides to appear before the court. Notably, earlier in the day, Dhaka Additional Metropolitan Magistrate Tofazzal Hossain issued the arrest warrant as the pacer did not appear before the court for a hearing in the case.

For the unversed, Bangladesh speedster Al-Amin married Israt on December 26, 2012, and his wife subsequently gave birth to two sons. However, their relationship started to a downfall when on September 1, Israt lodged a complaint with Mirpur Model police against him over torturing her for dowry. In her complaint, it was alleged that Al-Amin demanded 20 lakh as a dowry and used to beat her as she had refused to pay the amount. Furthermore, the cricketer allegedly also drove her out of the house with their two children on August 25.

Not only this, Al Amin sent a message to Israt that he will not provide her maintenance and divorced her. However, on September 6, the High Court granted Al-Amin anticipatory bail for eight weeks in the case over the torture of his wife for dowry. On October 6, Al-Amin submitted an affidavit to the court, claiming he divorced Israt on August 25.
