Indian Cricket Team young speedster Mohammed Siraj is back in his hometown Hyderabad. After reaching his hometown, Siraj went straight back to his late father's graveyard and offered his prayers. Siraj was on tour with the Indian team in Australia, chose to stay back even as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) offered the cricketer the option of flying back home to be with his family. Siraj stayed back in Australia because his mother reminded him of his father’s dream, said Ismail.

However, Siraj did not only overcome his personal pain, but he also endured public humiliation from the Australian crowd. Siraj was a victim of continuous racial abuse by the Australian crowd. Many news reports revealed that Siraj was chanted 'Bloody Grub'.
