India's young speedster Mohammed Siraj has returned to India after a long tour of Australia. The cricketer was not able to return to India after his father died. Siraj was on tour with the Indian team in Australia, chose to stay back even as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) offered the cricketer the option of flying back home to be with his family.

Siraj stayed back in Australia because his mother reminded him of his father’s dream, said Ismail. After coming back to his hometown Hyderabad, Siraj went to his late father's graveyard. Siraj's debut has been one of the most memorable and successful for team India.

ANI quoted Siraj who said, "It was difficult and mentally depressing for me. My family told me to fulfill my dad's dream when I called back home. My fiancée motived me and my team also supported me. I dedicated all my wickets to him. My celebration with Mayank Agarwal was dedicated to him."

 "I didn't think of taking these many wickets. After many players got injured, everyone was trusting me. I was under pressure and it was challenging to do this," added Siraj. Interestingly, Siraj was the leading wicket-taker from the Indian side.
