Bank Holiday List: In June 2021, for 9 days there will be a lock outside your bank branch. Some of these non-working days will be due to festivals while others will be because of weekly off-days.

In such a scenario, if you take out time to go to your bank and find it locked, then it would be a waste of time and effort. To prevent such, we need to know about the bank holidays in advance.

If you are thinking about going to the bank and wrapping up some work, then it is essential to know on which days the banks will be closed and why?

The first off day of the month of June 2021 will be June 6. 12-13 June will be the second Saturday and Sunday of the month. After this on 15 June is Mithuna Sankranti and Raja Parv. However, owing to these festivals only Aizawl and Bhubaneswar banks will be closed.

20 June is Saunday and 25 June is Guru Hargobind Jayanti. On 25 June only the banks in Jammu and Srinagar will be locked. 26-27 June is fourth Saturday and Sunday. On 30th June because of Remna Ni the banks of Aizawl will remain closed.

According to Reserve Bank of India’s guidelines, full efforts will be made to prevent any difficulty due to lack of cash in ATM machines.
