Peshawar Zalmi on Friday defeated Karachi Kings by 9 runs in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Chasing a competitive target of 174 runs, Karachi Kings only managed to score 164 runs in 20 overs with the loss of 6 wickets. Although Shoaib Malik was adjudged man of the match for his blistering knock of 52 runs in 28 balls, the moment which won everyone's heart is Australia's allrounder Ben Cutting's wife shocking as well as confused reaction.
In the 14th over, Ben Cutting was batting against Mohammad Nabi. On the fifth ball, Cutting tried to play through the on-side but missed the ball after which things happened too quickly for anyone to understand. Cutting missed the ball, bails fell off the stumps, while the ball went somewhere else. As soon as the bail fall down, Erin Holland's disappointed reaction was caught on the camera. Ben Cutting's wife clearly thought that her husband has been dismissed, following which her disappointment was caught on camera.
However, after a few seconds, everyone realised that the bails were knocked off by the wicketkeeper's gloves. Following that the camera again focused on Erin Holland and then she took a sigh of relief knowing that her husband is still there on the crease and has not been dismissed.
Even the commentator can be heard saying, "The bail has come off but I think that was from the keeper." Seeing Erin's reaction, the commentator started laughing and said, "Oh come on Erin, it's not that bad. He is not out. It's alright, he is still there. Don't panic. That's hilarious. Oh, now she knows. The smile is back."
