
Bringing laurels to their home country, Divyansh SinghPanwar and Elavenil Valarivan today won gold in the 10m air rifle mixed teamevent at the ISSF World Cup here at the Karni Singh Shooting Range.
Panwar and Elavenil defeated Hungary's Eszter Denes andIstvan Peni 16-10 in the gold medal match. This is India's 10th medal at theWorld Cup and third gold.
The Indian pair also topped the final round ofqualification earlier with a total score of 421.3. Denes and Peni were alsosecond in qualification after shooting 419.2.
Meanwhile, ace pistol shooters Manu Bhaker and SaurabhChaudhary topped the first round of qualification in the 10m air piston mixedteam event.
