Dayanand Ayurvedic College, Jaladhar, which is recognizedby Guru Ravidas Ayurved University, Hoshiarpur, today, in an official honouringceremony, awarded momentoes and certificates to the university toppers of itsinstitution.
Principal Dr.Sanjeev Sood told the media that there were 17 ayurvedic colleges running underGuru Ravidas Ayurvedic University, Hoshiarpur and as the part of curriculum theannual examination of 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students are taken.
Student namely Manvi Sharma of 1st year has stood 1st inuniversity among all 17 colleges by securing 811 marks out of 1050 marks, SimranjitKaur of 2nd year secured 975 marks out of 1250 marks & stood second inuniversity, while Shaffi of 3rd year secured 829 marks out of 1050 marks andgot 2nd position in university.
Principal Dr. Sanjeev Sood told that since one and halfyear classes are being taken online and offline as per directions of PunjabGovt. Students were guided time to time by worthy teachers and class tests werealso taken regularly. The result of this hardwork both of students and teachersis infront of us.
On this occasion of award distribution ceremony for theposition holders Dr. Sanjeev Sood invited their respected parents and presentedthe momentos to successful students.
Harmanpreet Kaur, Mansi of First year, Anjali Sharma, Pulkit Nanda of Second yearand Shaveta & Harshita Rana of Thirdyear were also given mementos for theirachievement in college. College staff was also present. Dr.Sanjeev Sood thanked the parents, college staff and ensured to provide allfacilities to the students in future also.
