Chasing a target of 210 in the bilateral series final, Pakistan's innings ended on 142-8 in 20 overs. The dismissal of Babar Azam and Mohammed Rizwan inside the powerplay exposed Pakistan's middle order, and the 'Men in Green' could not form any partnership after that. Although Shan Masood and Khusdil Shah tried to steady the ship, however, England's mammoth total could not let Babar Azam & Co. gain any momentum. Now, Pakistani cricketer, Imam ul Haq has slammed Pakistani fans for chanting 'Parchi' in order to mock Khusdil Shah for his ordinary knock.
Pakistani cricketer Imam ul Haq took to his Twitter handle and shared a video showing fans mocking Khusdil Shah after his dismissal. Khusdil Shah Parchi video has gone viral ever since. Imam ul Haq Parchi viral video was shared by the cricketer himself in order to criticise the Pakistani fans on social media. Sharing the video on his social media, Imam stated that such rants affect a player's health and therefore fans should stop doing such things."I would like to request our fans to avoid such rants at any player as it can badly impact the player’s health and try to support them like you always do, regardless of the results. We play for YOU, we play for PAKISTAN Stay blessed (SIC), " wrote Imam.
In the England vs Pakistan Parchi viral video, it can be seen Pakistani fans trolling their own player Khusdil Shah who struggled to get runs in the final match. Fans can be heard chanting 'Parchi Parchi' as disheartened Khusdil Shah makes his way back to the pavilion after being dismissed on 27 off 25 balls. Khusdil Shah was dismissed by England's leg spinner Adil Rashid when he was struggling to middle the ball. Khusdil failed to provide score runs quickly when Pakistan was in desperate need of it in order to win the T20 series against England.
