Hopper HQ, a social media marketing solutions platform recently published a report in which it claimed that Team India cricketer Virat Kohli charges over Rs 11.45 crore per post on Instagram and other social media pages. Not only this, it further suggested that Virat Kohli is the third-richest sportsperson on Instagram and is the only Indian among the top 25 personalities in the world. While Virat Kohli's Instagram earnings were doing rounds on social media, Team India cricketer in a rare incident broke his silence and called the report 'not true'.

Kohli on Saturday took to his official X handle and wrote, "While I am grateful and indebted to all that I’ve received in life, the news that has been making rounds about my social media earnings is not true."

It is pertinent to mention here that in 2022, Forbes also divulged Virat Kohli's social media earnings and his per post charge. As per Forbes, Virat Kohli earned a staggering $6,80,000 (approximately Rs. 5,06,50,000) and takes Rs. 5 lakh just to share one post from his official social media account. Notably, Virat Kohli had not refuted the Forbes report.
