The second match of the 4-Test series between India and England is being played at Chepauk Stadium, Chennai. Team India won the toss and decided to bat first. By lunch break, India have scored 106 runs losing 3 wickets. Opener Rohit Sharma is 80 not out and Ajinkya Rahane is 5 not out. Captain Virat Kohli was dismissed by the spinner for the first time at zero. He was clean bowled by Moeen Ali.

Earlier, the Indian team had a poor start. The team lost the first wicket to zero in the second over of the match. Opener Shubman Gill returned to the pavilion without opening his account. He was LBWed by England fast bowler Olly Stone. After this, Pujara was dismissed by scoring 21 runs. He was caught by Jack Leach at the hands of Ben Stokes.

Talking about Virat's dismissal, he was stunned after he was bowled by Ali his former RCB team-mate. Ali enticed Kohli to go for his favorite shot i.e. cover drive but the ball sharply spun and Kohli lost his off stump. 

During the lunch break, India's opener Rohit Sharma looked solid and he is not out at 80 runs from 78 balls.
