Shardul Thakur will be replaced by Umesh Yadav at the Ahemdabad leg of the cricket match between India and England. Thakur has been released to play for Mumbai in the Vijay Hazare trophy. It will be a 50 over domestic match.
Yadav will go through a fitness assessment test before joining Captain Virat Kohli led team for the match at Ahmedabad. As per reports, he is returning to the competitive cricket after recovering from the calf injury he suffered during the boxing day test against Australia.
After the fitness assessment, the chances are he will be
cleared. He is likely to join fast bowlers like Ishant Sharma in the team.
Sharma is one short of his 100 test match appearances, as per report.
