Notably, a minimum of five overs is required to constitute a match. Furthermore, there are no reserve days that have been kept by the ICC for the matches in group stages, but there are for the semifinals and final.

It is pertinent to mention here that rain has already halted proceedings in this tournament with Pakistan’s warm-up match against Afghanistan in Brisbane on Wednesday getting abandoned because of heavy showers.
