IPL IPL-2021 KKR-vs-MI

In a not-so nail-biting match, Mumbai Indians on Tuesday managed to restrict Kolkata Knight Riders at 142 runs thus, pulled off victory for themselves in Chennai's MA Chidambaram stadium.

Today marked the fifth match of the Indian Premier League, in which Mumbai Indians set a run-target of 153 for KKR.

The rationale behind Mumbai Indians' win is their outstanding bowling performances from their spinners Rahul Chahar and Krunal Pandya who did not let KKR move beyond 142 for 7 wickets in 20 overs.

Interestingly, KKR's start seemed amazing as their openers Shubham Gill and Nitish Rana scored 72 runs under 9 overs. However, the duo could not maintain the pace for longer and the match went a little off-track in the middle overs when the ball went in the spinners' hand.
