IPL 2021: SRH steal two significant wickets of RCB under 10 overs

Today's match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 is being played between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the MA Chidambaram stadium in Chennai. 

The toss of the match was won by SRH, who opted to bowl against RCB. 

RCB's openers Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal came in the middle to give a tough start against SRH bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Virat Kohli opened the match well as he smashed a boundary on Bhuvneshwar's first over's ball. For the next over, the ball went in the hands of Jason Holder and throws the ball for Devdutt who hit two boundaries in his first over of the match. By the end of the second over, RCB managed to get 16 with no out with Virat Kohli at 5 and Devdutt at 11.

However, the opening duo could not play for long as Bhuveshwar takes the wicket of Devdutt, who departed for 11.

Notably, Devdutt Padikkal is back for RCB after recovering from Covid-19 and replaced Rajat Patidar while for SRH, Jason Holder and Shahbaz Nadeem replaced Mohammed Nabi and Sandeep Sharma.

Shahbaz Ahmad who joined Kohli in the middle hit six of the match on the poor yet fortunate delivery of Nadeem. 

In another setback for RCB, Shahbaz Nadeem takes a wicket of Shahbaz Ahmad as the ball in the air was caught by Rashid Khan. At the time of writing, RCB's Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell were playing and made 63/2 in 10 overs.
