After losing to Pakistan and New Zealand, Team India has made a bold impression by defeating Afghanistan and Scotland by huge margin. They first trounced Mohammad Nabi and his men by 10 wickets, then put up an even better show against Scotland, winning with 81 balls to spare to make their NRR the best in the group.

Their fate, however, is not in their hands. All eyes will be on the match between New Zealand and Afghanistan, which will take place in Abu Dhabi on November 7. The Kiwis will qualify for the semi-finals if they win, and India's aspirations will be dashed. However, if Afghanistan defeats New Zealand, India will have a great chance to defeat Namibia by a large margin and get to the last four.

During the post-match press conference, Ravindra Jadeja, the player of the match in the game versus Scotland, was asked with a question about qualification. One of the reporters inquired about the team's plans if New Zealand did not lose to Afghanistan. The all-rounder responded to the query with a funny reaction, claiming that the team will pack their bags and return home.

Ravindra Jadeja’s hilarious response:

Question: Abhi baatein chal rahi hain ki agar New Zealand Afghanistan se haar jaata hai to humara chance banega. But agar NZ haarta hi nahi hai to kya karenge?

Ravindra Jadeja: Toh phir bag pack kar ke ghar jayenge aur kya

Ravindra Jadeja shines in India’s stunning win

Meanwhile, in India's thrashing of Scotland, Jadeja was the outstanding bowler. In T20Is, he had his best numbers of 3/15. India took full advantage of the circumstances after deciding to bowl first in Dubai, dismissing Scotland for just 85 runs. Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah, in addition to Jadeja, had a lot of fun with the ball, taking wickets at ease.

Then, in order to improve their NRR, they had to immediately track down the target. That's exactly what Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul achieved, with the latter hitting an 18-ball century. India completed their target in just 6.3 overs, and all they have to do now is hope Afghanistan defeats New Zealand.
