Indian bowler Jasprit Bumrah tied the knot with sports presenter Sanjana Ganeshan in Goa on Sunday which was attended by close family and friends. Ever since it was announced that Bumrah will not be a part of India's team during the Test series against England last month, speculations of his wedding had started doing the rounds on social media. Rumours were circulating that southern actress Anupama Parmeshwaram is the one to whom the cricketer will get married, but the actress mother refuted all the claims and said they are just friends.

Sharing the news about his marriage, Bumrah tweeted, "Love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course," along with two pictures where he and Ganesan are seen performing wedding rituals.
“Steered by love, we have begun a new journey together. Today is one of the happiest days of our lives and we feel blessed to be able to share the news of our wedding and our joy with you. Jasprit & Sanjana," Bumrah further added.
