PBKS co-owner Preity Zinta to miss IPL 2022 mega auction; 'I cannot travel to India..'

Preity Zinta stated that she cannot leave her little ones and travel to India and therefore she is going to miss IPL 2022 mega auction

Bollywood actress and Punjab Kings Co-Owner Preity Zinta on Friday shared that she will not be attending the upcoming IPL 2022 mega-auction. Preity Zinta took to her Twitter handle and shared with her fans that she is going to miss the IPL 2022 mega auction which is slated to take place in Bengaluru On February 12 and 13. The Punjab Kings Co-Owner also revealed the reason behind missing the IPL 2022 mega auction. 

Preity Zinta stated that she cannot leave her little ones and travel to India and therefore she is going to miss IPL 2022 mega auction. However, the Veer Zara actress stated that she has been busy for the past couple of days discussing cricket and about the auction with her team. Furthermore, Preity asked fans for their recommendations on the players they would like to see playing for Punjab Kings. 

"This year I’m going to miss the IPL Auction as I cannot leave my little ones  & travel to India.The last couple of days have been hectic discussing d auction & all things cricket with our team.I wanted to reach out to our fans & ask them if they hv any player suggestions.."

 In 2021, Preity Zinta had announced that she and her husband Gene Goodenough became parents to twin kids. The couple welcomed son Jai and daughter Gia Goodenough through surrogacy. 

IPL 2022 Mega Auction

A total of 1,214 players have registered their names for the mega auction, which is scheduled to be held in Bengaluru on February 12 and 13. Of those 1,214 players, 896 are Indians and 318 are overseas players. According to a press release issued by the BCCI, the list includes 270 capped, 903 uncapped, and 41 associate players from 10 different nations.
