Rishabh Pant's accident has shocked the nation and the cricketing world. Rishabh Pant lost control of his car after dozing off while driving alone on the Delhi-Dehradun route at about 5:30 a.m. IST. Before catching fire, the vehicle turned a few times on the road. Pant has been hurt in the forehead, back, and feet. Pant's car has been completely ruined. Now. Rishabh Pant's accident video has been going viral on social media. Multiple videos and photos have been doing rounds, however one of the videos in which Rishabh Pant getting rescued by locals moments after the accident has caught everyone's attention.

In the Rishabh Pant accident video, the Team India wicket-keeper can be seen covered in blood, while the locals trying to help him out. Furthermore, it can be seen, Rishabh Pant was given a shawl in order to cover him after the accident and locals were seen trying to calm him down and giving him support. While 'injured' Rishabh Pant can be seen talking to locals, his car can be seen burning into flames in front of him.

The Delhi Capitals skipper has two deep wounds on his forehead, one right above the left eye, a ligament tear in the knee; and abrasions on his back. He has been sent to the Max Hospital in Dehradun where further scans, including an MRI, will determine the exact extent of the injuries and further course of treatment. On the cricket front, Pant will miss the six white-ball games against Sri Lanka due to a knee issue that has been troubling him for some time. He has reportedly been asked to head to the National Cricket Academy for two weeks to undergo a strengthening session for his knee.
