The internal conflicts in Punjab Congress seems to be deepening as former cabinet minister and Congress leader Navjot Sidhu is leaving no stone unturned in raising his voice against the Captain Amarinder-led-Congress government for 'weak' investigation in the cases related to the sacrilege issue.

Time and again, Navjot Sidhu has tweeted against his own government and even accused Captain Amarinder Singh for evading responsibility and asked if sacrilege case not the top priority for the Home Minister(Punjab CM holds the home portfolio)?

He even said that despite multiple inquiry commissions and SITs, the justice hasn’t been delivered even after six years, while the accused have gained in wisdom due to repetitive investigations on the same matter.

Meanwhile, Sidhu’s today’s tweet is a direct attack on Capt Government over its failure to fulfill the poll promise of eliminating drugs, mafia raj from Punjab, and instead threatening party colleagues for raising voice.

Navjot Sidhu tweeted, “No Action on Drugs, No Action on Sacrilege, No White Paper on Power Purchase Agreements, No Action on Mafia Raj, Only Action against your Party Colleagues to protect Badals and Majithia”.

It is pertinent to mention here that, Jalandhar Cantt MLA Pargat Singh on Monday accused CM’s political advisor for threatening him of a police case for raising voice against the CM. Also, Congress leader Navjot Sidhu, Congress MP Pratap Bajwa and Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, they all came out in support of Pargat Singh and demanded clarification from the CM on the allegations.
