On the first day of the fourth Test match between India and England, a case of conflict between players of both teams has come up. England all-rounder Ben Stokes slammed Indian fast bowler Mohammad Siraj. It was revealed by Siraj himself after the end of the first day's play. He said that captain Virat Kohli handled the matter well.

All-rounder Ben Stokes came to bat after the dismissal of England captain Joe Root. Siraj welcomed him with a bouncer. Stokes did not like this very much and he abused Siraj. Siraj told this to captain Virat Kohli. Virat asked Stokes about this. After this, there was some debate on both sides. Eventually, the umpire had to come to the rescue.

When the conflict between Stokes and Siraj erupted, the English team was in deep trouble, losing three wickets for a score of 32 runs. Siraj was bowling well and it is likely that Stokes is looking to spoil his rhythm. However, he did not get much success in this, as Siraj later took the wicket of Bairstow.

Stokes was also asked about this after the first day's play. He said, 'Look at it from another point of view. You know what the players are doing. I know enough that two competing players were trying to dominate each other. England were eventually all out for a score of 205 runs. Playing the second match in this series, Siraj took two wickets in England's first innings.

After the match, Siraj revealed what had happened on the field. "Usne mujhe gaali diya (He abused me)," said Siraj after the day's play when asked about what had transpired.
