Although India’s records in ICC knockouts have been a little dicey, the team is considered one of the favorites of all time. But former batsman Suresh Raina still warns that there are 3 teams that the Indian Team must be aware of.

For the first time in history, Suresh Raina seems to be worried about the performance of team India against certain teams. The first one of them is the team West Indies who are also known as defending champions. He added that “West Indies are going to play fearless cricket. India will have to take wickets, especially in the powerplay, when we face them. The Windies have batsmen from No. 1 to 10 and they have the six-hitters.”

Apart from West Indies, Raina was also worried about Afghanistan because of their best spinners that could be trouble for the Indian team. The third team that he is worried about is Sri Lanka. This is because in the T20I series in July, Sri Lanka managed to defeat India since the Indian team was unaware of the strength and capabilities that the young players of the Lankan team.

He further said, “Both Afghanistan and Sri Lanka have updated their game and still nobody is even talking about them.  Although  the Indian team has played some matches against this new team of Sri Lanka, we still haven't seen many players of their team performing.”

"Therefore, teams like Sri Lanka and Afghanistan should be considered as a threat as well because their spinners are more aware of the conditions of the pitches of UAE. India needs to learn their strategy after every single match in order to get a clear vision, positive intent towards the matches,” he explained further.
