“We are quite similar in terms of how we look at life,” Zaheer had stated. She, like me, takes time to open up to new individuals. She has a really straightforward perspective on life, and we share similar ideals. Both of us place a high value on family. We feel the same way about our friends. These are the characteristics that attracted me to her.”
Anushka Sharma married Virat Kohli in Italy a month after Sagarika and Zaheer's wedding. On December 11, 2017, the couple married and welcomed their first child, a daughter named Vamika, on January 11 of this year.
In the meantime, Anushka has been out of the limelight for the past two years. She most recently appeared in Zero alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. She recently produced the Amazon Prime Video web series Pataal Lok and the Netflix film Bulbbul, both of which received praise.
