While Indians are celebrating the victory of the Indian Cricket Team over England in the second test, a new controversy is in making in the cricket fraternity. India's former player Wasim Jaffer who was also the coach of the Uttarakhand cricket team had resigned a few days back. Jaffer was made coach for one year by paying a fee of Rs 55 lakh. Last month, the Uttarakhand team lost 4 out of 5 matches in the domestic tournament Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament.

CAU Secretary Mahim Verma and Chairman of the Selection Committee Rizwan Shamshad had alleged that Jaffer replaced Iqbal Abdullah as the captain in place of Kunal Chandila. They also accused Jaffer of changing Uttarakhand's team slogan 'Ram Bhakta Hanuman Ki Jai' to 'Go Uttarakhand'. 

Following this, Jaffer had resigned from the post and had also shared his answer point by point on Twitter. Jaffer got the support of India's former captain Anil Kumble and from India's former all-rounder Irfan Pathan.

Now, going by the various media reports, Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat has ordered a probe into the controversy surrounding the resignation of Wasim Jaffer as the head coach of the state’s senior men’s cricket team. The investigation was ordered after Cricket Association of Uttarakhand (CAU) officials met CM Rawat
