Happy Birthday Rimi Sen.
Rimi Sen turns 40 today.Rimi Sen admitted that she did Bigg Boss 'for the money.' The actor participated on the show's ninth season and was repeatedly chastised by host Salman Khan for his lack of interest.

Rimi said in an interview that she was paid about 2 crore to spend 50 days on the show.  Most people, she claims, have misinterpreted Bigg Boss' basic values; although they believe the programme is about 'fighting,' it is truly about displaying one's true self in front of the public.

Rimi went on to say, "The majority of the time, people are unable to understand the real purpose of Bigg Boss. The show isn't about competing for attention or providing substance. This programme is all about revealing your true self. He or she is the actual person, har kisi ke andar ek kharab shaks chhupa hua hai, so usko bahar lakar vo dikhate hain ki (Everyone has a bad aspect to their personality, and the programme brings that side out). And I was fascinated by the notion when it was presented to me. They design tasks in such a manner that your worst nature emerges in public, and you must maintain control over yourself.”

She claimed she kept true to herself on the programme, and her opinion on Bigg Boss hasn't altered in the years since she took part. "I was well aware that I had come for money and that I needed to act properly and present a positive image, which I did. That was extremely successful for me "she stated.

Rimi, who has starred in blockbuster films such as Hungama and Dhoom, told a leading daily in 2015 that money was a major factor in her decision to participate in Bigg Boss, but she refused to say how much she was paid. “I can't breach my contract by telling you how much the price was since it would be unethical. However, they did provide me with a significant incentive to participate in the show. They apply convincing techniques to persuade others. Despite the fact that my nature is completely different, I was convinced," she'd claimed.
