
BCCI on Thursday has announced the final playing XI forthe ICC World Test Championship. The team has decided to go with two spinnersand three fast bowlers in the World Test Championship final against New Zealandthat begins on Friday here at the Hampshire Bowl on June 18.
Both Ravindra Jadeja and R Ashwin have been includedwhile Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shami, and Ishant Sharma will comprise the pacebowling attack. This however means that Mohammed Siraj has been called off thelist.
Wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant will bat at No. 6.Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill will open.
On the flip side, New Zealand is yet to announce its finalsquad even though captain Kane Williamson said that everybody is fit and availablefor selection.
