WTC: Two spinners, three fast bowlers now included in Team India's Playing XI vs New Zealand

On the flip side, New Zealand is yet to announce its final squad even though captain Kane Williamson said that everybody is fit and available for selection.

BCCI on Thursday has announced the final playing XI for the ICC World Test Championship. The team has decided to go with two spinners and three fast bowlers in the World Test Championship final against New Zealand that begins on Friday here at the Hampshire Bowl on June 18.

Both Ravindra Jadeja and R Ashwin have been included while Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shami, and Ishant Sharma will comprise the pace bowling attack. This however means that Mohammed Siraj has been called off the list.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant will bat at No. 6. Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill will open.
