Following the people around the world especially England's cricket experts are criticizing the pitch prepared at the newly built Narendra Modi cricket stadium. Former England captain Michael Vaughan called the Ahemdabad pitch 'awful and shite'.

While the England team and ECB members did not criticize the pitch, India's former ace all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has publically slammed the Ahmedabad pitch. Yuvraj even took a jibe at Ashwin who became the fastest Indian to take 400 test wickets breaking Harbhajan Singh's record.

Yuv raj took to Twitter and wrote, "finished in 2 days Not sure if that’s good for test cricket !If @anilkumble1074  and @harbhajan_singh bowled on these kind of wickets they would be sitting on a thousand and 800 ?Thinking faceHowever congratulations to Flag of India  @akshar2026 what a spell! congratulations @ashwinravi99 @ImIshant"

This statement by Yuvraj got the support of Michael Vaughan. Vaughan has been constantly slamming the Indian pitches ever since England started losing tests in India i.e. from the second test. Vaughan wrote, "Well said Yuvi."

Following this, netizens started to troll and criticize Yuvraj on social media: A user wrote, "Pic 1: Yuvi requesting to forget bad times of Stuart Broad (a Non-Indian) and appreciate his achievements. Pic 2: Yuvi requesting (indirectly) to forget an achievement of Ashwin an Axar (Indians) and criticize indian pitches."

Another user wrote, "Of course I am a fan of Yuvi and no body can deny he has been our hero.. But sometimes choice of words will pull everything down & I can see lot of ppl disappointed with this tweet. Could have avoided."
