Right-handed batsman Virat Kohli will become the first batsman in the history of IPL to score 6500 runs as soon as he completes his first run against SRH. No batsman has scored so many runs in the franchise T20 league. Even while playing in the IPL for a franchise, Virat Kohli has scored so many runs, which is a big deal in itself. 

Virat Kohli has so far scored 6499 runs in 210 innings of 218 matches at an average of 36.51. This includes 5 centuries and 43 half-centuries. He has hit 566 fours and 214 sixes in this league. 

Virat Kohli was the first to score 6000 runs in IPL and now he is on the threshold of scoring 6500 runs. After him, Shikhar Dhawan has completed 6000 runs in this league.
