Some areas of Jalandhar will face a scheduled power shutdown today (Thursday) as the power department carries out maintenance work on two major feeders. According to the schedule issued by PSPCL, electricity supply will remain disrupted from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM in multiple localities.
The 11 KV Central Mill Feeder will remain shut during the maintenance period. Areas likely to be affected include Bashirpura, Thakur Singh Colony, Santoshi Nagar, and Kaji Mandi.
At the same time, the 11 KV Dakoha Feeder will also remain under shutdown. Consumers residing in Kamal Vihar, Thakur Singh Colony, Shourya Green, and Niti Shri Flats may face power disruption during the four-hour period.
The power department stated that the shutdown is necessary for technical maintenance and requested residents to cooperate. The department also regretted the inconvenience caused to consumers.
