As Shark Tank India set to take over the internet with the release of its season 5 on January 5, 2026, multiple startups of Punjab have been featured in the show. For those who have not watched a single episode, Shark Tank is a show where entrepreneurs come up with their businesses and seek investment from judges who are called sharks.

Startups from Punjab at Shark Tank India Season 4

1) The Naturik Co from Bathinda

Entrepreneurs from Bathinda (Punjab) impressed investors so much at Shark Tank India Season 4 that he secured an 'All Shark Deal'. Sahil Vohra and Isha Chadha Vohra, Co-Founders of The Naturik Co recently appeared at Shark Tank India Season 4. Sahil informed the Sharks that he hails from Bathinda and has been brought up in Punjab till his matriculation.

Sahil Vohra and Isha Chadha Vohra came with an ask of Rs 50 lakh in exchange of 2 percent equity but in the end, they got Rs 4 crore at 22.22 percent equity in an 'all shark deal'.

The Naturik Co's Co-Founders- Sahil Vohra and Isha Chadha Vohra started their pitch and said, "Naturik, India's tastiest and healthiest desi breakfast brand. In Naturik we serve tasty Cheela, Masala Millets Kichdi, and Sprouts".

2) Recode

Appeared during Shark Tank India Season 2, the story of Recode founders from Ludhiana still surprises everyone. At Shark Tank, Recode had failed to get any investment from sharks. One of the key reasons why sharks did not agree to invest in the company as it fell in the same category as fellow shark Vineeta Singh’s SUGAR Cosmetics.

In an interview with a news portal, Recode Studios’ co-founder Dheeraj Bansal stated that while it didn’t receive any funding from the sharks of ‘Shark Tank’, it, instead, “got virality and support from social media.”

Recode Studios now enjoys a pan-India presence.

3) P-TAL

A company named P-TAL (Punjab Thathera Art Legacy) secured a rare all-shark deal at Shark Tank India Season 3. Aman Gupta, Amit Jain, Anupam Mittal, Namita Thapar, and Vineeta Singh all invested in the company together that has its roots in Amritsar, Punjab.

The founders of the company Kirti Goel, Gaurav Garg and Aditya Agrawal appeared at Shark Tank India Season 3 and reminded sharks how they used to hear 'Cook in Brass, Eat in Bronze, and Drink in Copper' were actually true even scientific point of view.

The founders came with original ask of Rs 50 lakh for 1 percent in company- Valuation Rs 50 crore. However, in the end, they got Rs 1 crore for 3.2 percent of the company.

Aditya Agrawal, CO of the company explained the company's roots in Amritsar (Punjab). "It is beneficial for our health as well. It is said that food cooked in these utensils retain 93 percent nutrients. In other utensils, only 13% nutrients are retained. These utensils are made by Thathera community of Jandiala Guru.

4) Burger Bae

One of the companies from Punjab who featured in Shark Tank India was Burger Bae. Founders of Burger Bae featured in Shark Tank India Season 4 and got Rs 2 crore investment from sharks. Interestingly, their original ask was Rs 1 crore, but instead they secured an investment of Rs 2 crore.

Rohan Kashyap and Ojasvee Kashyap are founders of Burger Bae. They hail from Ludhiana, Punjab. On other hand, Janvi Sikaria is an influencer and she joined Burger Bae in 2021. She is also dating Rohan Kashyap, founder of Burger Bae.

5) Fitelo

Mehakdeep Singh aka Mac and Sahil Bansal are founders of Fitelo who appeared during an episode of Shark Tank India Season 4. Mehakdeep and Sahil who were once obese met in a gym in Chandigarh and their friendship turned into being business partners.

Sahil Bansal who did his Bachelor of Engineering at Panjab University in Chandigarh informed the Sharks at Shark Tank India Season 4 that Fitelo is a weight-loss program via an App that helps you achieve fit and healthy lifestyle.

Fitelo that got investment from Sharks- Vineeta Singh and Namita Thapar at Rs 150 crore valuation has its deep roots in Chandigarh. They will also get royalty of 1 percent until their they recoup 1.5 times of their investment. They invested a total of Rs 1.5 crore at 1.5% equity.

Apart from Sahil Bansal, Mehakdeep is also an alumni of PU. Mehakdeep's LinkedIn profile suggests that he did MBA from Panjab University. Thereafter, he did Masters in Dietician course from GMCH 23 i.e. Government Medical College and Hospital in Sector 32, Chandigarh.
