The banks will remain shut as per the RBI guidelines in the state of Sikkim, Gangtok on Tendong Lho Rum Faat reason.

August 9, 2025 (Saturday)

On the day of Raksha Bandhan, The Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Dehradun, Jaipur, Kanpur and Luchnow banks are closed, following the RBI instruction on that day.

August 13, 2025 (Wednesday)

On the Patriots Day occasion, the Banks would remain closed in Imphal, Manipur .

August 15, 2025 (Friday)

Since India will celebrate its 78th Independence, on 15th August, Indian banks, all over the country will be closed.

Apart from the RBI regulations, some other sources indicated that on the aforementioned date, Parsi New Year (Shahenshahi) will be celebrated in the states of Gujrat and Maharashtra. Banks in both the two states will be closed.

On Janmashtami day, Bhagwan Shri Krishan's birthday, the banks in Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and Tripura will remain closed.

Janmashtami is on the Asthami Tithi of Krishna Paksha in the month of Bhadrapada according to the Hindu calendar.

August 19, 2025 (Thursday)

As per RBI guidelines the banks will remain closed in Agarthala, Guwahati on 19th August.

28th August 2025 (Thursday)

As per RB guidelines the banks will remain closed in Bhubaneshwar and Panaji on Nuakhai festival.
