The 2021 American Music Awards gathered some of the industry's finest musical talents on Sunday night at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles to honour the best in music. The event was hosted by Cardi B and was aired on Sunday, November 21 at 8:00 pm EST on A.B.C.
Many legendary artists were nominated in this event for multiple categories. Bad Bunny, Doja Cat Giveon, BTS, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift and Drake were some of the notable nominees. Olivia Rodrigo made her AMAs debut this year, and she received seven nominations, including Artist of the Year and New Artist of the Year. The Weeknd, who garnered six nominations, follows the "deja vu" singer.
