Team India locked horns with Australia in their first warm-up match in Brisbane and ended on a winning note, courtesy of the outstanding all-round performance of the 'Men In Blue'. Winning the toss, Aaron Finch invited India to bat first at the Gabba. For Team India, KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav shined with the bat. While KL Rahul scored 57 off just 33 balls, Suryakuamr Yadav scored 50 off just 33 balls. In terms of bowling, Mohammed Shami turned out to be the best bowler despite the fact that he only bowled the last over and took 3 wickets. For Australia, captain Aaron Finch played a brilliant knock of 76 runs off 54 balls. Now, Team India will lock horns with New Zealand in their second warm-up match on October 19, 2022, before ultimately facing Pakistan in their T20 World Cup 2022 opener at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
