Team India on Thursday locked horns with the Netherlands at the history Sydney Cricket Ground in the Super 12 group stage match of the T20 World Cup 2022. Winning the toss, Rohit Sharma decided to bat first, however, the start was not up to the mark as KL Rahul departed cheaply once again in the T20 World Cup 2022. Team India gave a target of 180 runs to the Netherlands in 20 over. However, it was an Indian fan who stole the limelight from the players when he proposed to his lady love in front of thousands of crowds at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG).
The Indian fan proposed to his girlfriend in the second innings of the India vs Netherlands T20 World Cup 2022 match. After the first ball of the 7th over, while Hardik Pandya was bowling, the camera shifted to the crowd. Amidst the huge crowd, an Indian wearing a jacket and the team's jersey took out a ring and proposed in front of the crowd. The girl, on the other hand, was happily surprised by the special gesture and acepted his marriage proposal. The entire act was live streamed and ever since then went viral on social media.
