Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan questioned in cruise drug party, WhatsApp scanned

SRK's son Aryan Khan is being questioned in connection to the rave party that happened on a cruise ship.

Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan is among those being questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), in connection with drugs seized during a crisis ship rave party off the Mumbai coast on Saturday night, several sources said. 

The NCB had raided a high profile rave party on a tip, in which around 12 people have been detained and the agency has seized several banned substances like cocaine, MD etc. 

Aryan Khan is currently being questioned by the NCB detectives, however, no official statements have been released by far. 

The NCB sources also said that the party was also filled with other celebrities, but those who were not possessing or consuming drugs have not been detained by the bureau. Although Aryan Khan’s role in the party has not yet been confirmed by the NCB, he is being questioned and his WhatsApp chats are being scanned to find other details relating to the party. 
 
According to Sources, NCB other persons detained from the cruise are - Munmun Dhamech,  Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Vikrant Chhoker, Gomit Chopra and Arbaaz Merchant.

The Cordelia Cruises' Empress ship was raided after it departed from Mumbai and NCB sleuths had seized banned drugs such as cocaine, hashish and MD. 

According to sources, the ship was scheduled to depart on Saturday to Goa and return on Monday. 
 
Sameer Wankhede, the agency’s Mumbai zonal director following a tip-off, he and his team boarded the shop disguised as passengers. 
 
The ship after leaving Mumbai shores and the party began when it was at the mid-sea. Sources said it was at the point when drugs were consumed. 
 
Wankhede while speaking to reporters, termed the issue “complicated”.

Meanwhile, Aryan Khan’s phone has also been confiscated and his WhatsApp chats are being examined and reports said that if the agency finds his involvement the actor’s son will be charged under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985.

"Based on the information, the officials of NCB Mumbai conducted a raid on Cordelia cruise which was bound from Mumbai to Goa on 02.10.2021. During the operation, all suspects as per the information were searched for various drugs like MDMA/ Ecstasy, Cocaine, MD (Mephedrone) and charas has been recovered,” read a statement issued by the NCB on Sunday, further adding that a total of 8 persons have including two Delhi women have been arrested and their role in this party is being investigated. 

The drug agency has registered a case under Cr 94/21 in the matter and the probe is underway. 
 
All six of the organisers who had organised the cruise party have also been summoned by the NCB and they may likely be held by the agency.  
 
Kashiff Khan who is tha Managing director of FTV India is also under the scanner and has been called by the NCB. The event was organised under Kashiff Khan’s supervision.

The entry fee to the party alone was kept in the range of Rs 1 lakh, an officer told the media. 

 
Last week, in a joint operation the teams of NCB’s Mumbai and Goa had arrested Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal’s partner Gabriella Demetriades’s brother from Goa in having links with a drugs case. According to sources, charas was seized from him by the bureau.
